[TYPO3] Need a good combination of news, newsletter, and direct mail extensions

Hi Folks,

I would like to send newsletters from my website, being filled with  
content from news items and then mailed from the site.

There are lots of extensions out there, but I'm looking for some  
wisdom on what combination of extensions has proven to do the job  
reliably and which ones are enjoyable to use.
