[TYPO3] Limit search results based on FE_User auth

Hi,

I need to set up a system where the search results of news archives  
are limited to 30 days for users that have not registered and logged  
in through the FE_USER extension.

This filtering will needs to work for both the SEARCH plugin for  
tt_news as well as indexed search [since news articles also appear via  
that search feature].

It seems I might have a couple of things might be a major issue
Indexed search doesn't (?) consider the timestamp of the news article  
when indexing - perhaps the solution is to not index news articles?

One approach it seems is to set up two tt_news search content  
containers  - one that has the filter and the other that does not.   
The one without the filter would show at login.  The one with the  
filter shows when not logged in. The question/trick is getting the one  
that filters to "do the right thing".

Anyone ever done this or have an idea how to approach the problem?
