[TYPO3] Internet links to an extension

Hello,

Is there a way to link to an extension in TER? E.g., I would like to link to

http://typo3.org/extensions/repository/view/macina_searchbox/2.2.0/

But if the extension is updated, I would like to land to the current 
version. I found that replacing the version number with "current", that is:

http://typo3.org/extensions/repository/view/macina_searchbox/current/

sometimes works but not in all cases. Is there a way I'm not aware of?
