[TYPO3] URGENT: be_groups(subgroup) cannot have more than 20 subgroups!!!

folks,
what is this artificial limitation for?
it is not possible to add more than 20 groups to the be_groups(subgroup)

I need it to be resolved as soon as possible.
Modifying be_groups(subgroup) from tinytext to text does not help, so I 
assume it is logic enforced limitation.

any reason for this behavior? and does any one know how to fix?
