[TYPO3] Indexing: mnoGoSearcg, Lucene, etc

Hi

Is it a good solution indexed_search like a search engine? i think, no. Or may yes for very small sites.
What could be the future of the core search engine? mnoGoSearch its an interestings initive, but not suitable for shared hosting, Why not Lucene?
Sphinx? Lucene has shown to be be a reliable search engine (Wikipedia uses Lucene)

Are there any interest in create a Lucene indexed_search replacement?
