[TYPO3] tinyrte missing proper names

hi,

cannot achieve proper tinyrte on one of my sites. functions and buttons 
  are called 'advanced.something' instead of their proper names. you can 
see a capture of it here:

i used the same method of installation and configuration on another site 
and that one works fine.

can it be caused by incompatibility with any other extension? 
(rtehtmlarea is obviously uninstalled.)
