[TYPO3] has anyone used sk_pagecomments

I have it working now. I altered the php. I assigned the arguments that were
being passed by reference to temp vars and passed the temp vars to the
functions. Seems to have worked. I can see the comments and make comments
and they are saved in the database. I can see and edit them in the back end
too.

Ok. I found out I must select general plugin,

but now I see these errors:

How can I fix this without editing the php.ini? Does the author know about
this?

I'd like to use sk_pagecomments as it seems you can link the comments tot
t_news artciles.

Has anyone done this before? How do I add the comments to the page? 
The manual says:

	"Insert the Plugin on the page where you want to have comment
function."

There's nothing to choose from when i go to add page content.

	"You also can do it from TS like
	
		page.10.marks.COMMENTS < plugin.tx_skpagecomments_pi1"

I don't understand that bit totally. Can someone explain it a bit better
please?
