[TYPO3] not admin user cannot delete content elements...

a not admin user I've created can't delete a content element (whatever, text, list, table, image, ...) when clicking on the trash icon (unlink element) of the element IN THE PAGE CONTENTS...
...everything works fine (deletition works) if he uses the trash icon INSIDE the element itself.

Cannot understand why?
