[TYPO3] condition on TemplaVoila [DS] and/or [TO]

I have the following TS in my main template:
lib.stdheader.10.1.fontTag = <h1>&laquo;&nbsp;|&nbsp;&raquo;</h1>

the aim is to modify this depending on which templavoila [DS] and/or  
[TO] is chosen in the page configuration (obeying TV inheritence  
settings -> template for subpages), to e.g. this:
lib.stdheader.10.1.fontTag = <h1>|</h1>
