[TYPO3] CHash remains part of URL even after enableCHashCache is set

Hello list,

I am using the latest version of RealURL 1.4.0 running on TYPO3 v4.1.7
I am not sure when it happened but I have noticed that somehow the CHash parameter started 
     to be a part of all my URLs. I am sure it was not there before. The enableCHashCache 
option in realurlconf.php is set to 1 as it was before.

Did someone noticed something similar? How do I get rid of that parameter?

PS: Yes, I have cleared all the caches including tx_realurl_chashcache (RealURL seems to 
store the values there like before). And yes, I have been in install tool to see the 
output of compare db link. No tables to update...
