[TYPO3] How to manually uninstall an extension

Thank you for the response! I did that, and also removed an additional line
in that file that had reference to the timtab_twitter extension (with the
parameters for that extension), but after restarting TYPO3 (i.e. Apache), I
still get the same error:

TYPO3 Fatal Error: Extension key "fn_lib" was NOT loaded!
(t3lib_extMgm::extPath)

I don't find any reference to fn_lib in typo3conf/localconf.php. Any idea?
