[TYPO3] Dam list - problem with edit and other icons

Hi, im have posted this in the dam list aswell, but think more might 
read this one.

When I log in as a non-admin user and use the DAM Media list module I 
get these warnings for every picture in the current folder/category:

Warning: imagecreatefrompng() [function.imagecreatefrompng]: 
'/var/www/typo3/domain.dk/typo3temp/readPG_f7e9e96016ff69721edaf54c9dbd610a.png' 
is not a valid PNG file in

Any idea what causes this?

Apparently it has something to do with the icons?
