Hello,

I was just forced to upgrade from Fedora Core 4 to Fedora 8. I have a backup of my
old T3 site (3.1? 3.5?) and I'm trying to bring it up on T3 4.1. Here are the steps
I followed:

0) Restored the T3 database
1) Downloaded the src package.
3) Updated the syminks on my website directory:

4) Pointed my browser to <my_website>/typo3/install as described on the install/upgrade
guide and followed the instructions. It all went well, I got all check marks, but
now I can't login (<my_websyte>/typo3). The login screen says incorrect password,
despite the fact I've changed the password for the admin user multiple times amd
I've verified I'm using the right password.


I looked in the apache error_log file and I find:
