[TYPO3] Prototype and Mootools (accordion vs ratings)

Hi

It seems that prototype and mootools are incompatible (Ajax.Updater is not a constructor) and for example if you try to use the extension accordion of Georg Ringer and ratings extension from netcreators, ratings fails with a javascript error.
Are there any way to use both extensions? may be detecting mootools in ratings and using mootools AJAX functions on it?
