[TYPO3-english] dr_blob hangs in BE when modifying records

I'm experimenting dr_blob.
It works fine when simply inserting and deleting a record in BE.
However, if I try to modify a record, or delete a record from within the 
edit page, it hangs.
Also, when filesystem is used as storage, when a record is deleted the 
associated file is not deleted.

Typo3 4.1.7, PHP 5.2.6

Any hint?
