direct_mail has nice CSV convert tool to map field in your own table to 
tt_address table. Imports relative big CSV-files. Use paste to be sure 
that the conversion is ok - if UTF-8 encoding characters might be not 
converted correctlty if used import from file.

Good plugin to render tt_address records is wt_directory.
