Typo3 doesn't support automatic setting of levels - menus don't have 
property recursively to set the depth automatically.

not possible except creating a user function for menu, where you program 
the menu yourself. I don't remember, if userFunc is supported for HTMENU 
  or THMENU of both - you must look support of userFunc from TSRef.
