[TYPO3-english] recommendation for categorized search

Hello folks,

I'm trying to achieve a categorized search; with this I mean something 
like following:

two fields:
- dropdown list with the search categories (one of them would be "search 
in all")
- free text search

The categories could be defined in content element and in page 
properties. Either writing them like keywords or selecting if they were 
separate records.

Any idea or recommandation where to start with this?
