[TYPO3-english] two separate news sources with one tt_news plugin in one page

Hello,

I plan to make two news lists:
first one - short news,
other - press releases.
Is it possible to do that with one tt_news plugin in one page?
I've tried - you can easily insert as many tt_news plugins 
as you want, but the News records list remain the same.
Should I separate news sources by categories?(not convenient way)
