Hi everybody
I am trying to install Typo3 4.2.1 on a webspace and get a list of weird (at
least to me) error messages and warnings when I try to update the database
with the required data from the install tool: the error looks like this and
the line is repeated quite a couple of times before the Installaion tool is
displayed again:
*Warning*: mysql_fetch_assoc(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL
result resource in *
/homepages/0/d181937846/htdocs/cms/t3lib/class.t3lib_db.php* on line *1047
*The last error message is different:
*Warning*: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by
(output started at
/homepages/0/d181937846/htdocs/cms/t3lib/class.t3lib_db.php:1047) in *
/homepages/0/d181937846/htdocs/cms/typo3/sysext/install/mod/class.tx_install.php
* on line *4898
*The webspace I am using is probably not best suited for Typo3 (no
ImageMagick and on a shared server) but I thought I could get it to work
anyway ... I already had to add a .htaccess to the typo3 root directory to
enable the usage of php5 instead of php4 because I couldn't change all file
extensions of the typo3 installation. I have added a new one, not enabled
the sample one which is shipped with typo3, and the lines included are (as
advised by my web host):
AddType x-mapp-php5 .php
AddHandler x-mapp-php5 .php
Btw. the database changes don't appear to have happened ...
Does anyone of you know what is happening and whether there is a way to fix
it?
best whishes
Jonas
