Your code seems to be OK, so it appears to me that you are making some 
mistake with testing of the offsets.

No, it should affect only the second word. Make sure you test it right: 
the second number is vertical offset.

Also, you might want to have height of the image dynamic according to 
both words:

XY = [10.w],[10.h]+[20.h]+some_additional_space
