[TYPO3] Is DAM worth its use or is it dead?

Yes. I sit next to a guy in my office who has to use the DAM very often.
"Oh, why can't it be simpler like this and that?" That's probably the
main reason why I joined the DAM development, so the crying in my office
will finally stop :)
