[TYPO3] Weird characters in GMENU after server change

That looks very promising. I switched back to the default font and got 
my é back, so it seems like it is indeed an issue with the font (and the 
difference in PHP version clearly has an influence, since everything is 
ok on the dev server).

Now on to convert my font...
