[TYPO3] Bypass Processing of RTE Content?

Is there a way to bypass the processing of what the RTE submits to the 
database without hurting links / file paths?

I keep getting strange things happening, such as <p div=""> so on, so 
on...  I would like to bypass the processing that Typo3 does on RTE text 
and keep the HTML code that the RTE itself generates.

Any ideas?
