[TYPO3] Invitations en masse in sr_feuser_register

Hi Folks,

I'd like to use the invitations function in sr_feuser_register to issue
invitations en masse.

Can I upload a database of invitees to the backend and then somehow
trigger the invitations to be sent?

Other suggestions?  Anybody out there ever done this?
