[TYPO3] Consecutive lines in the RTE

Hello all!
        
    In the RTE in I press 'enter', a <p> tag is inserted. If I press 'shift + enter', a <br /> tag is inserted. This is great. However, when I save the information and show it in the front end, it is impossible to get consecutive lines, even though I used 'shift + enter'.

For example, I want to write:

Yesterday I went swimming.
After that I went to the supermarket.
There I found my friend from work.

When I save that text and show it in the front end it shows like this:

Yesterday I went swimming.


After that I went to the supermarket.


There I found my friend from work.


Anybody knows why?
