[TYPO3] login/session problem

yes, that would be a good idea, but in my case I have a problem with 
login in - also to install tool - after login I see menu table with 
options and no matter what I click I go back to joh316 login form - so 
clearly sth with sessions :(

Can option register_globals set to TRUE have any influence on that?
