[TYPO3] cant read error reason message for crawler errors

I am trying to get the crawler to index my pages, and all the ones I
submit to be crawled, under status in the crawler log, show ERROR:...
but it doesnt show the error...  Is this available in a table in the
db? I dont see any others than the tx_crawler_queue table...

any ideas how to troubleshoot this? any help much appreciated.
