[TYPO3] CoolURI and Frontend User Registration stops to work.

I might as well begin the post with a...

Hi Jan.

I know that I have been giving you a lot of work lately and I hope that 
you don't see me a pain in the .... but just as someone who helping out 
to test the CoolURI extension.

As you know I had some problems with the confirmation link generated by 
the Frontend User Registration extension.

The problems where solved with CoolURI version 1.0.5.

But now the problem is back.

Here is the story:

I had some error messages showing up in the user registration process. 
this is a bug in Frontend User Registration ver. 2.5.7. To solve the 
problem I outcommented two echolines in 
class.tx_srfeuserregister_hooksHandler.php.

After this the error messages don't show.

But now the original problem with brackets [] being transformed to %xx 
is back.

I tried to reinstall CoolURI and here is the result.

- The first sign up process works just fine. No errormessages and the 
confirmation link is working.

- At the second attempt the problem with the missing brackets is back??? 
and this persists.

I am very confused.

It seems that saving or changing files or content that has no direct 
impact on CoolURI can cause the extension to change behavior?

Just as the tip a friend works a first but then stops to work when 
content is saved. Very weird.

Any ideas?
