[TYPO3] Typo3 and LDAP

Hello all,

*Case:*

We would like to use LDAP authentication for our frontend users.

*Configuration:*

SuSe SLES 9
TYPO3 Ver. 4.0.4
OpenLDAP 2.2.24-4.19 -- LDAP version 3
Extension: LDAP (eu_ldap) version 2.7.9
PHP-CORE: version 4.3.4-43.75
PHP-LDAP: version 4.3.4-43.8


*Problem:*

After installing the LDAP Extension we would like to configure the *
configuration* paramaters. The question is *WHERE?*  The new link appearing
in the web-module doesn't let you configure anything  in order to connect to
the LDAP server. The error message this page gives:
