[TYPO3] Problem with permissions

I have made a couple of TemplaVoila flexible content elements. My problem is
that only administrators have permission to use them. If an editor tries to
edit a record made with these content element forms, you get a permission
denied error message followed by:

Reason: ERROR: authMode "explicitDeny" failed for field "CType" with value
"templavoila_pi1" evaluated

I have unchecked the Flexible Content item on the "Explicitly allow/deny"
list for that particular usergroup and unchecked everything else on that
list for that matter, just to be sure, but to no avail. I have also tried to
allow various items on the excludefields list, but nothing seems to help.

Does anyone have a good suggestion what the problem is and how to solve it?
