[TYPO3] localization Manager, fatal error.

Hi.

I would like to try out the extension "LocManager". I makes it possible 
  to export pages for translation. Translators can then do the 
translation outside the Typo3 BE and the translated pages can imported.

But I get an error when I try to export a page for translation.

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: domxml_new_doc() in 
/var/www/virtual/xxxxxxxxxx/htdocs/typo3conf/ext/t3_locmanager/class.tx_t3locmanager_main.php 
on line 637

I am running PHP 4 on a linux server so everything should be fine.

Any suggestions on what to try next?
