[TYPO3] Menu Question

Yeah while I was at a training session today I was thinking that is probably
the best way...  Now to determine how to do the side area's and sub menu
things...

Well - not exactly ;-)

This way you will get no active "home" button, when you enter the page.
You should just switch the shortcut so that it's not

Home
    Shortcut to Home
    Page 1
    Page 2

but

Shortcut to Home
    Home
    Page 1
    Page 2
