[TYPO3] htmlArea substitutes: tinyrte, rte_tinymce, tinymce - which is the best?

Difficult or challenging - yes. But sucks  - no!

It has the most options and most configuration and in fact I wish it had 
more in the way of options and configuration tbh. (But then I've never 
really had much difficulty in the way of configuration with it since I 
first figured it out the first time.)
