[TYPO3] FE translation?

Hi all!

Please help newbie:
I want multilanguage site. So I need to have the translation of i.e. Search 
module in FE. The problem is that I always see english version... I have 
installed languages that I want to use. Also I set default and alternative 
language. And I have this in setup (for flags):

config.linkVars = L
config.sys_language_uid = 0
config.language = sk
config.local_all = slovak
[globalVar = GP:L = 0]
config.sys_language_uid = 0
config.language = sk
config.local_all = slovak
[globalVar = GP:L =1]
config.sys_language_uid = 1
config.language = de
[global]

What did I miss?
