[TYPO3] External URL page type link

Hi,

I have a menu which contains pages of the 'external url' type. Is it
possible to set the menu link to point direct to the real address
instead of a link to the 'external url' page that then redirects to the
real address?

As it is at the moment, my website doesn't behave as intended.
