[TYPO3] no menu in backend in safari

Hi guys,

i'm running Typo3 4.1RC2 and almost everything seems to work very fine, 
except several people report to me, that they do not get the menu in the 
left when using safari.

Since i do not have a mac to test this properly, maybe somebody has got 
a clue, what the problem could be?

Firefox, IE and Opera on WinXP are running fine.
