[TYPO3] Is htmlArea dead?

If you ask me, this is a project for 5.0 instead of 4.x. HTMLarea
itself is pretty good, but the necessary TYPO3 configuration is a
notorious nightmare. /This/ is the huge job with TYPO3 and RTEs...
