[TYPO3] Combining news and normal articles (is there a way to avoid typing tings twice)

Hi.

I am writing a lot of complex articles. 90% are presented as news using 
"link internal article".

This seems a bit like double work. First you write an article and then 
you write the news. Many informations are the same but they have to be 
typed twice.

So is there anyway to integrate normal articles in the news plugin?
Or can the news plugin be integrated in the normal way of writing articles?

If the news plugin allowed complex articles there would be no need to 
link to internal pages.

Any suggestions on how to cut down on the double work are most welcome?
