[TYPO3] RealURL with real index.html

Hi,
I'm using a real index.html on a site which then redirects to the
index.php of TYPO3. This works fine but means that RealURL will make
wrong assumptions about its root page. How do I get RealURL to send
links to the home page to go to /something.html instead of just /? In
other words, is it possible to make sure that the root page is always
named in all links?
