[TYPO3] Selecting pages outside domain

Hi list, 

I'm using multiple domains in my cms and now I am trying to link to a
page outside the domain I am in. 

I am using the TypoScript "CONTENT" object to select pages and I think
that the query returns no results because the value of "pidInList" is
outside the domain.

I have set config.typoCheckRootline but that made no difference. 

Shouldn't it be possible to select a page outside your domain since it's
all one "pages" table?
