Hi Joey,

although your approach is a very nice one, I didn't get it to work
when implementing 10=TEXT and 20=TEXT in my COA for my GMENU.

So as I'm not really interested in generating duplicate content and
furthermore I would have had to change the templates for about a dozen
of domains I searched a bit in realurl settings.
I found out that setting the pagepath parameter "excludePageIds" works
as the startpage didn't get aliased anymore and the link was somehow
formed as "/index.php?id=240".
This is not what I wanted - I commented out the line
"dontResolveShortcuts" and wow - it's working!
The startpage is linked very well just as "/".
Just to inform you how I got this working now. ;-)
