Simply put:

   # set the navigation frame to a size in pixel, default is 245
   setup.override.navFrameWidth = 245

into the _user_ TSConfig of the user or group to affect. You might also
want to set:

   # enable users to resize the navigation frame
   setup.override.navFrameResizable = 1
