[TYPO3] Upload more files and images with mth_feedit and news_feedit

I'm using mth_feedit and news_feedit to give FE-Users the possibility to 
create tt_news articels via the Frontend. Works great so far, but my client 
wants to enter more than one image and one file when creating a tt_news 
record. Probably it's possible to enter more images/files if the user opens 
a saved record again in "edit"-mode, but my client doesn't want the records 
to be editable after creation.

Is there a way to get more than one upload field for images and files in the 
FE with mth_feedit and news_feedit? Do I have to extend the tt_news 
Extension with the kickstarter to get more upload fields? Is it possible to 
create new upload fields (with kickstarter) for the backend of tt_news which 
are connected to the already existing fields ("image" and "news_files") of 
the tt_news table?
