[TYPO3] DAM Downloads

Hello List,

i am trying to use dam_downloas EXT, but it seems doesnt work perfect.

first problem is, some times i get this error:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function exif_read_data() in 
D:\www\krempel_de_2006\typo3\sysext\indexed_search\class.external_parser.php 
on line 499

second problem i can not select an category with subcategories with the 
extension, when i select the parent Category, nothing will display in FE.

third problem, how can i display all my categories in FE, something like 
Tree. is this possible???

did you get fixed this problems, and if anyone of you have an extended 
version of this EXT can you please send it to me??? ill be very thankful 
  for that.
