[TYPO3] tt_news and frames

Hi,

i have a big problem with a typo3-installation (v4.0.4) and tt_news 
(2.4.0). The site is updated from an old 3.5.0 installation an it uses 
frames. My Problem ist, that i cant find a way to setup the 
tt_news-Links with a target or a pagetype.
I look in the mailing-archive, but i cant find a proper way to set 
either type or target. I tried ItemLinkTarget, which has no effect.
I think, that i need use parsefunc, but i dont know how to set this
for tt_news.
