[TYPO3] Extension uploading not working..

Hi
      I created an extension . But when i upload to typo3 repository i got
the following error

*Upload was not successful!*

The TER2 SOAP server throwed an exception (*202: Extension does not exist.*).
If that seems to be an error, please post a bug report at bugs.typo3.org and
mention this error code and description.

I first selected the extension i created from list of loaded extension and
then from the menu i selected "upload" option.
There  entered the username and password.

Is  the above method is incorrect ? Any other more procedues for uploading
an extenion.
