[TYPO3] Problem with sendmail

Hi all!

I install typo3 version 4.0.4 on a debian linux server.

I have some problem with the send of a email:
when I send a mail from check of install tool
I receive a "mime(?|??|)" text:
VEVTVCBDT05URU5U

But the mail that typo3 send to notify when somebody logs in
from my account (setup check) is ok.

What can I test to find the problem?
The sistem use two different system to send this two mail?

Another news: if I send from install tool a html mail, I
receive a attachment file with html
