[TYPO3] 4.0.4, TV,Static info 2.0.2 issues

On a new install of 4.0.4, with TV and Static Info tables 2.0.2 I have been generally OK, except that I was getting an error ,essage at the top of the page while in the Back End giving two warnings:

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /var/www/html/typo3/class.db_list.inc on line 685

Warning: mysql_fetch_row(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /var/www/html/t3lib/class.t3lib_db.php on line 815

I saw in this forum that I should check the database through the Install tool, but certain queries regarding static tables would not go through, so the issue remained.

I recalled when downloading the Static Info Tables 2.0.2 that the system warned that 2.0.2 was not approved for TYPO3 4.0.4, so I tried uninstalling the Static Info Tables and running the Install tool database check again. This time it hangs on just one item:

ALTER TABLE sys_dmail_category CHANGE old_cat_number old_cat_number char(4) NOT NULL default ''

Even when I ran the query (successfully) directly in phpMyAdmin the Install Compare tool still reports an issue with the same table.

Possibly a related issue is that only the content ID is showing on the page (http://wh.advancewm.com/index.php?id=7 for example) and not the content.

Has anyone a suggestion on how I should go from here?
