[TYPO3] Typo3 Hit Statistics

That is what I thought... However, page ID 455 shows 29/7 for hits and the
sys_stat table shows 39 records for this page for the date of 12/14/2007. I
notice differences on all pages where there are more records in the
sys_stat table than reported in Typo3 as hits. Is this normal? If so, what
explains the difference? Thanks in advance.
